BUYING AFTERMARKET WHEELS

When you wheel shop, you will quickly find that there is a huge difference in price. New wheels from the original manufacturer on some model cars can cost upwards of $1,000 each and there is a reason for this. The answer is quality. Some of the best wheels come from the auto companies. They cannot afford to sell junk. There are a huge number of companies who manufacture aftermarket wheels and many provide good quality products. When choosing an aftermarket wheel, make sure you are not buying something that will soon be just scrap aluminum. Some of the wheels on the market are easily bent, the finish is inadequate and after a short while they go out of productions. We frequently meet people who have damaged an aftermarket wheel and, when they tried to check on a replacement, they learned that their only option was to buy a whole new set.
