PhotosDuring the course of our operations, we come across both routine repairs and some that can only be described as unique. Therefore, our photo page will be undergoing frequent reconstruction. We will try to present around ten wheel examples at a time, so check back occasionally for more examples of the type of work we can do.
This is a newer style Mercedes AMG wheel. It is not gold, it just appears that way in the light. The rim was heavily damaged around the bead and the repair involved the use of our special metalized filler to rebuild the bead.
The bead on this older style Mercedes wheel was damaged heavily and the clear coat on face of the wheel was eroding. A closer view (below left) shows the extent of the damage The bead was damaged so heavily that filler could not be used. Instead, welding was required to rebuild the bead. Also note that the machining lines across the face were replaced.
This Porsche wheel was damaged around the edge of the bead. On the right, a closer view shows the severity of the damage. Prior to painting, franchise approved filling and blending techniques were used until the repaired areas around the rebuilt portion of the rim was barely discernible.
Our proprietary paint formulas allowed us to match the factory color so perfectly that the repaired area was imperceptable. Lastly, the base-coat was sealed with the best clear-coat available. The final result was a like-new finish and the project was completed in about an hour. Best of all, the entire price for the repair was a fraction of the cost of a new wheel.
